The Lantern Walk
The Lantern Walk takes place in early December on the Carillion Island in Canberra. The service offers families an occasion to remember their loved ones in a beautiful and peaceful environment. The service, is non-denominational and is assisted by various clergy and celebrants. Lanterns are given to members of the family with a walk twice around the island. Refreshments are provided at the conclusion of the service.
