Who should officiate at the service?

There are two main options when deciding on who should officiate at the service:

• A member of the clergy is a minister or priest of a faith
• A civil celebrant is a person who normally does not have a connection with any faith

Whether the deceased had a faith or not is often what determines who would be best to officiate at the service.
